I don’t know about you, but my students are READY for Spring! There is a definite air of Spring Fever in our classroom! So, I needed some fun Spring Teaching Ideas, and I figured that you might too!
Spring Teaching Idea 1:Digital Sequence and Write
Here are a few Digital activities that I created for working on sequencing.
This first item is fully interactive. Your students move the pictures into the correct order, then write the sequence using the transition words provided. Because it is digital, it is in full color! Hurrah!

I made two versions of this product! The one above is for sequencing three pictures. The one below is for sequencing four pictures and then writing about them.

Spring Teaching Idea 2: Pattern Block Mats
My students LOVE pattern blocks! I created these fun pattern block mats for my students to use during morning tubs, math centers, or even indoor recess!
These come with several different choices so you can print what works for your classroom. They come in full color (seen above), black and white, then it also comes with cards of the pictures so you can use whiteboards or only print a few of the full mats and use them with the cards. Spring Teaching Idea 3&4: Spring Reading Logs
#3: Paper Spring Reading Logs
My kiddos read independently every day, and I don’t always get to conference with all of them! Keeping a short in-class reading log helps to hold my students accountable, plus I can keep tabs on what they are reading and how well they are “getting” certain skills! This product also contains a monthly reading challenge, at-home reading logs, and reading responses!

This one is the blank version. I had prompts for the kiddos to work on during the week.

#4 Digital Spring Reading Logs
This year has been crazy, hasn’t it? I have been trying to cut back on the amount of paper that we all have to touch, so I created Digital Reading Logs that my students are really getting a kick out of this year! Check out the quick video:
