This week, I want to talk about the book Gaston by Kelly DiPucchio. Oh my goodness!  This is the cutie patootiest book EVER! Book Talk Tuesday: Almost Super with a Freebie!

Hello again! Happy Tuesday! Today our book is a chapter book. This year my class had a really hard time settling down after lunch and recess, so I moved my daily chapter book read aloud from the end of the day to right after recess. We read several books this year (which will be featured in upcoming posts) but this one was our favorite this year! Planet Points: Quick Classroom tips and Tricks!

I love fun, decorative gel clings for my classroom door. You know what I don’t love?  The kiddos touching them, taking them off, dropping them on the floor, and putting them back up! I don’t like it when I can’t get them to look like they do in the package. I have a solution! Leave the plastic backing on! This is a picture from the back. Persuasive Writing with Crankee Doodle (pst…there’s a freebie too)!

Hello all! Tech storage tip and Chicken Soup with Rice winner!

Congrats Crystal G!  I hope you enjoy your book! Now, for a really quick tech storage tip! This year as a school corporation have gone 1 to 1 devices. So, that means that every kiddo in my class now has a Chromebook. This of course presented a bit of a storage problem. Thank goodness for smart colleagues! She found some storage racks that were meant for big pot lids. Here is a picture of the ones that I have purchased. As you can see here, the chrombooks fit perfectly and neatly into the slots.
