Each cootie catcher has 4 setting choices, 8 character choices, and 8 plot choices! They play with the cootie catcher to make their choices, then write the story that they have chosen!

This product contains 5 different writing prompt cootie catchers in both black and white and color. It also contains a blank cootie catcher for your students to make their own!

You will also find writing papers with different line choices (not shown in the preview due to space concerns).

I have also included detailed instructions (with pictures) on how to fold the cootie catchers, and a link to a Youtube video to show how it is done as well.

These are not themed, so could be used any time of the year! They are perfect for Writer’s Workshop, Writing Center, and for substitute teachers!
