Fun Writing Journal for the First Week of School

Easy to assemble fun writing journals for the First Week of School and anytime! These back-to-school writing journals are perfect for the first week of school when you are teaching your students the routines and procedures for your writing block. This little journal will give your students some space to write without being overwhelmed that first week of school. It will also give you a quick glimpse into your student’s current writing abilities. I have also included a blank journal that can be used anytime during the school year!

These writing journals are perfect for short writing assignments, morning work, fast-finishers, or when you want your students to do some writing but don’t have a lot of time.  These would also make great writing homework!  Send it home on Monday, due back on Friday!  These writing journals would also make great reading logs.  At the end of your independant reading time, have your students fill in one section with a book that they are reading!  So many uses for these fun writing journals!
